In 1931, a group of film industry professionals had an idea - that the industry should help those of its own who fell on hard times. Our first vote of thanks goes to them, for forming the MPIBS, an organisation which has been providing financial and emotional support for industry colleagues for 90 years.
To keep a good idea alive takes a village.
